Sketches @ Smokehouse, Frasers Hill.

Just some sketches I did during my recent getaway to Frasers Hill. The first is drawn from a book of castles in Scotland. The latter was a life drawing of a room that reminded me of an english greenhouse. Just for fun, I added the portrait of Whistler with Hat and some other additions to transform the room into my dream studio!

Aspiring Young Illustrators!

My 14weeks as a part-time lecturer for the Illustration and Narrative Studies module in Taylors University College has produced some promising talents! It was a fun time of learning where students were introduced to a variety of media like acrylic and gesso, montage with found objects and digital painting with photoshop among others.

One of the assignments I gave the students was Self-Portrait for a self promotional website, as showcased above. I was very pleased with the results! From top to bottom: Kar Xin, Wen Teng, Didi, Sok Pen and Andy Tan.

With continuous dedication and hard work, I have no doubt these students will have a bright future!
